During an extensive consultation period, the AMPBA executive committee used various methods of communication to seek feedback on the prospective rescheduling or cancellation of the 2020 AMPBA National Championships.
AMPBA Members were presented with various options in regards to a possible rescheduling for alternate dates later this year, but ultimately the vast majority of competitors were in favour of the cancellation.
As a result, Brisbane Model Marine Club (BMMC) will host the 2021 AMPBA National Championships at Boral Lake. The proposed dates for the rescheduled event are Saturday 6th March 2021 until Sunday 12th March 2021. Participants from SA, ACT, TAS and VIC will benefit from Labour Day public holidays on Monday, 8th March 2021.
